The Simpsons Environments are the most comprehensive, detailed talking toy series in the history of talking toys. The Simpson's "Living Room" has been selected to represent this remarkable series but it easily could have been Homer in the Nuclear Power Plant or a half dozen of the other settings. Playmates has been producing these environments since January 2000 and each set comes with at least one Simpsons character that speaks over 40 different phrases by placing it on its activation peg. Called Intelli-Tronic™ Voice Activation, these characters also work with other selected environments. The Simpsons Living Room features Marge and Maggie, however, over 62 other figures will work with this room.

There are two note-worthy sites for a more complete look at these environments.
